The African Lady Teacher called Precious
Leadership did not merely assign me responsibility; it shaped my character. Over the past few years, serving across the sacred spaces of faith, the structured demands of my profession, and the complex terrain of society has become one of my most profound classrooms. In these spaces, I discovered that leadership is less about authority and more about caring for people—real people, with real emotions, expectations, and imperfections.
Each season brought refinement—moments that stretched my patience, tested my convictions, and deepened my dependence on God. The lessons have not always been comfortable. Some came through misunderstandings. Others came through silent endurance. A few arrived through tears I never spoke about. Yet every experience shaped me. I have learned that competence may open doors, but it cannot sustain influence. It is love, forgiveness, tolerance, endurance, and above all, the sustaining grace of God that keeps one standing when leadership feels heavy.
Human relationships are delicate and complex. Leading people requires listening more than speaking, pausing before reacting, and choosing peace even when you could choose pride. As The African Lady Teacher, my journey has not been one of perfection, but of growth. I have had to apologise. I have had to forgive. I have had to learn when to be firm and when to be gentle. Through it all, I have leaned on God more than ever before.
Through every challenge and every triumph, my prayer remains simple: to walk faithfully, with God present in every detail—guiding my words, steadying my emotions, and anchoring my decisions.
If leadership has taught me anything, it is this: titles do not make a leader—character does. Influence is not sustained by power but by integrity. And strength is not always loud; sometimes it is the quiet decision to keep showing up with grace

I haven’t gotten the opportunity before to tell you that you are indeed a great leader, Miss Precious. I have learnt a lot from you within the few time I spent at Ecole Ronsard. I admirethe way you talk to others, address issues, the way you always lead by examples and with humility. May God continue to guide you in whatever you do. Thank you for everything.
